The book shows and explains the food culture in Vietnam and in particular it portrays the author's experiences with Vietnamese culture in Germany. The book contains 19 recipes based in Vietnam, guided on 120 pages. The recipes are created by the author's family. Generally, it is not about Vietnamese food but about the personal and intimate experiences of the author about his own roots and culture in Germany.
